About LookMate and Platform Operator

LookMate is a digital social commerce platform owned, operated, and managed by REIGGN LLP (“REIGGN”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Throughout these Terms & Conditions, references to “LookMate” shall include REIGGN LLP, its affiliates, directors, employees, representatives, and authorized agents where applicable.

REIGGN LLP provides LookMate as a technology platform facilitating social interactions, content creation, communication between users, and a marketplace connecting independent buyers and sellers. REIGGN LLP does not act as the seller, manufacturer, distributor, or owner of products listed by third-party sellers on the Platform unless expressly stated otherwise.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the LookMate platform, including any associated mobile applications, services, or features (collectively, the “Platform”), you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

2. Eligibility and Legal Capacity

You represent and warrant that:

You are at least thirteen (13) years of age;
If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, you are accessing the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian;
You possess the full legal capacity and authority to enter into a binding agreement under applicable laws, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act 2000.

LookMate reserves the right to restrict or terminate access where eligibility requirements are not met.

3. Nature of Services and Intermediary Status

The Platform is a technology-based intermediary that facilitates:

User-generated content sharing and social interaction;
Communication between users, including private messaging;
Discovery of users and content based on approximate location;
A marketplace enabling independent third-party sellers to list and offer products.

LookMate expressly disclaims any role as:

A seller, distributor, manufacturer, or retailer of goods;
An agent, partner, or representative of any user or seller;
A guarantor of user identity, conduct, or content.

The Platform operates in compliance with the Information Technology Rules 2021 and qualifies for intermediary protections thereunder.

4. Account Registration and Security

Users may create accounts via OTP-based authentication using phone number or email credentials.

You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information;
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
Accept full responsibility for all activities conducted through your account.

LookMate shall not be liable for any unauthorized access, loss, or misuse arising from your failure to secure your account.

5. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Upload, publish, or transmit content that is unlawful, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable;
Engage in harassment, abuse, stalking, or intimidation of other users;
Impersonate any individual or misrepresent affiliation;
Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading practices;
Circumvent or attempt to circumvent Platform safeguards.

You acknowledge that you bear sole and exclusive responsibility for all content, communications, and interactions conducted through the Platform.

6. Content Hosting and Moderation

LookMate does not undertake any obligation to proactively monitor, screen, or verify user-generated content.

However, LookMate reserves the absolute and unfettered right, at its sole discretion, to:

Remove, restrict, or disable access to any content;
Suspend or terminate accounts;
Take appropriate action in response to user reports or legal requirements.

Failure to act against certain content shall not constitute acceptance, endorsement, or liability.

7. User Interactions and Communications

The Platform enables communication between users, including interactions with unknown individuals.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

All communications are initiated at your own risk;
LookMate does not verify or guarantee the identity, intent, or behavior of any user;
LookMate shall bear no liability for any disputes, damages, or harm arising from user interactions.

8. Disclaimer on Offline Interactions

Any decision by users to engage in offline interactions, meetings, or transactions is undertaken solely at their own risk.

LookMate:

Does not facilitate, endorse, or monitor such interactions;
Shall not be responsible for any injury, loss, damage, or misconduct arising therefrom.

9. Marketplace and Seller Disclaimer

9.1 Independent Sellers

All products listed on the Platform are offered by independent third-party sellers. LookMate does not own, control, or manage such products.

9.2 No Warranty or Guarantee

LookMate makes no representations or warranties regarding:

Product quality, safety, legality, or authenticity;
Seller credibility or reliability;
Delivery timelines or fulfillment.

9.3 Role Limitation

LookMate acts solely as a neutral facilitator and shall not be considered a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.

10. Payments, Logistics, and Refunds

Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers.
Sellers bear sole responsibility for order processing, fulfillment, delivery, returns, and refunds.
Logistics services may be facilitated through independent third-party providers.

LookMate disclaims all liability relating to:

Payment failures or disputes;
Delivery delays or losses;
Refund processing or denial.

11. Cash on Delivery (COD)

Where applicable, COD services are offered at the discretion of sellers and facilitated through third-party logistics providers.

LookMate shall not be liable for:

Non-delivery, delayed delivery, or incorrect fulfillment;
Payment discrepancies arising from COD transactions.

12. Verification Services

Verification badges are provided as part of a paid subscription and indicate completion of identity verification procedures only.

Such verification:

Does not constitute endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee;
Does not imply reliability, credibility, or lawful behavior.

LookMate reserves the right to revoke verification status at its sole discretion.

13. Suspension and Termination

LookMate reserves the absolute right to:

Suspend or permanently terminate user accounts;
Remove access to the Platform;
Enforce restrictions without prior notice or explanation.

Users may submit appeals; however, LookMate is under no obligation to respond or reverse its decisions.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, LookMate, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages;
Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities;
User-generated content or interactions;
Marketplace transactions, including product-related issues.

Use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LookMate from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of:

Your use or misuse of the Platform;
Violation of these Terms;
Infringement of any third-party rights;
Disputes with other users or sellers.

16. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to LookMate’s Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of data as outlined therein.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts within India.

18. Amendments

LookMate reserves the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of such changes.
